Product Description: Mihiarii Tahitian Black Pearl Grade, Size, and Color Range: The black-lipped oysters grow up to 6 inches wide, and the pearl size can range from 8mm to a maximum of 19mm. Sizes over 15mm are quite rare and very expensive. Mihiarii has the full size range of Tahitian black pearls, from 8mm to 19mm.

Mihiarii's Multi-Color Tahitian Pearls: Genuine Tahitian pearls come in a wide range of natural colors, from cool white to deep black. They are often referred to as Tahitian black pearls because they may feature a deep, dark overtone. Mihiarii's pearls commonly exhibit peacock, green, blue-green, dove grey, and silver/steel overtones.

One by One, Hand-Selected: From the entire harvest, 50% of the oysters will produce a pearl, and only 20% of that harvest will be of sufficient quality to sell. Of those, just 5% will meet the standard required for jewelry. All the Tahitian pearls used by Mihiarii are hand-selected one by one, and we choose only pearls that are AAA grade or above. They are rare and should be prized.
